Name Your Seat
Join us to raise funds toward our building project by naming a seat in Colburn venues that have held memories for thousands of concertgoers over the years and will make countless memories in the years to come!
Seats in the 1,000-seats-in-the-round Terri and Jerry Kohl Hall, Dance Studio Theater, Zipper Hall and Thayer Hall are available for dedication in honor of yourself, a luminary, or loved one. With levels starting at $500 with pay-over-time or pay-in-full options, your dedication will be commemorated on your seat or an adjoining plaque (as determined by the project architect) for the next twenty years!
Terri and Jerry Kohl Hall
Designed by Frank Gehry, this 1,000-seat concert hall in-the-round will be the jewel of the Colburn School. With a large stage to accommodate full orchestras and productions, this venue will be the treasured home of the Colburn Orchestra and will welcome students and artists from a variety of partner organizations. Seat dedications start at $1,000.
Zipper Hall
Beloved by so many, this 430-seat venue has held countless performances, master classes, lectures, and celebrations on the 1,000 square-foot stage in its twenty-five-year history. For the first time, you will be able to dedicate your favorite seats! Seat dedications start at $2,500.
Thayer Hall
Colburn’s intimate 189-seat venue is home to recitals, recordings, seminars, and our treasured weekly Performance Forum series on its 550 square-foot stage. For the first time, you can now select your favorite seats in this intimate venue. Seat dedications start at $1,000.
Dance Studio Theater
Housed in the new Colburn Center complex, this state-of-the-art flexible dance theater venue will house 100 unfixed seats with limitless configuration opportunities, from concert seating to events and immersive exploration. Seat dedications can be secured for $500.

Please note that purchasing a seat dedication does not include concert ticket seating in upcoming performance seasons. Once you complete your purchase, you will be invited to enter your dedication message per seat with a limit of 40 characters, including spaces and punctuation. A member of the Philanthropy department may contact you to consult on your dedication and payment plan, as needed.
